What Are Missionaries?

  Supporting The Ministry

Since Acts 13, missionaries have been sent out by the Holy Spirit throughout the world. Their mission is the great comission. "Go into all the world and preach the gospel and make disciples of all nations teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you" (Matthew 28). As long as there are people in the world who need the Gospel, then God will send out missionaries.

By design, missionaries are dependant people. Primarily they are dependant on the Lord. God must provide for them as well as equip and empower them. But I believe missionaries are also dependant on churches and individuals. What I mean by this is, not everyone can go abroad for the sake of this great Gospel. But that does not disqualify them from being involved in missions abroad. This dependancy that missionaries have is not exclusively the missionary's, since the supporting churches and individuals are dependant on the missionareis as well. They are investing by prayer and financial aid to the furtherance of God's Kingdom (to read more about this read the article on Why Support Missionaries?.)

Our goal here is not to pan handle for money. My God shall supply all my need (Philippians 4:19). However I do want to ask for prayer. Financially, prayer costs you nothing, but it does cost you in a sense, because you are making a commitment to pray. Now because we are flesh and blood, we do need money to live. All our finances are provided by God through individuals. As you pray for us, if the Lord leads you to support us financially then read this article on How To Support Us.
